This practice pad is a great tool for beginners to advanced drummers. It's drumhead provides the bounce and feel of a real drum, and the pad can used mounted on a stand or setting on a table top.
 
Many years ago, I heard a band director recommend to percussionists to keep their practice pad next to the couch, and to practice during the commercials.
